May 8th Protest and Donation Drive

Come one, come all to our next monthly protest on May 8th, 2010 for an afternoon of singing, dancing, and informing the public of the abuses with the Church of Scientology.

Along with our regularly-scheduled win, as it is the day before Mother's Day, we will give additional focus to the abuses within the Sea Org, especially their history and policy of forced abortions. It should be noted that this is not an issue of being pro-life or pro-choice, as choice is something being taken away from women within the Sea Org who become pregnant.

To bring additional attention to this foul practice, Anonymous Minnesota will be hosting a donation drive for People Serving People, and will be accepting donations of baby toys, clothes, diapers, and other supplies to be delivered promptly to this great local charity. New supplies are preferred, but gently-used goods are acceptable.

Following the protest, our donation booth will remain open and as the sun sets, we will be holding a candlelight vigil in memory of Scientology's numerous victims throughout the decades.

Scientology sure has been getting a lot of bad press recently, what with the high profile defection of the Collbrans resulting in a frontpage New York Times article, Vulture Ministers in Haiti, Kristie Alley's frontgroup diet program accusations, the German documentary Until Nothing Remains, Senator Xenophon's motions in Australia... the list goes on. Locally, our favorite Scientology minister further publicized these issues on WCCO radio. Thanks, Brian Fesler!

On February 13th, Anonymous members are highly encouraged to arrive at 1011 Nicollet Avenue between 11 a.m. and 4 p.m. to protest our local Cult of Scientology org. Today's protest starts at 11 am and goes until 4 Pm. I hope you can make it.
WCCO says it is supposed to be fairly nice out with some wind. Make sure to wear sunscreen if you need it and bring layers if you get cold easily.

After the protest tonight there will be a meeting as mentioned in the news. if you need more information... ask someone who knows more than I.

May 9th Post-game Meeting

After we achieve win at Saturday's raid, there will be an IRL meeting after the raid to discuss some agenda items and to provide an open floor for Anons with ideas for our activities over the course of the summer and the rest of the year.

Anons who can't make it can download the audio recording or meeting minutes later. We'll attempt to setup a live audio feed too and will be keeping an eye on IRC so those on the tubes can participate.

Ok Guys, you knew this was coming. Mayday is in two days, and most if not all of you know about it and have said you'd be there. Soviet's commie ass might even show! So, grab your mask, wear something light (temps in the upper sixties) and don't be shouting cult at the hippies. Get over to the Mayday thread to read up on start times and other (suggested) guidelines. Long story short, set-up's between 9 and 11, parade starts moving at 1, and we gotta gtfo by 7.

Also, don't forget that special something happening tomorrow (saturday) night. You know who you are!
